Our History

Launched in 2019 by the Southeastern California Conference, Growing Together is the realization of a God-given dream to empower churches and families to unite in the shared mission of discipleship. At the heart of Growing Together is a simple, yet powerful idea: families learning together. Each week, we present the same Bible story or theme across all age groups in Sabbath school, tailored to each learner. We then equip parents with resources to continue these conversations at home through hands-on activities, Bible study and prayer. This approach helps churches empower parents to disciple their children, bringing churches and families closer to God and to each other.

Growing Together is a collaboration with Adventist pastors, educators, and professionals committed to portraying a loving image of God. Our content is crafted to be age-appropriate, family-focused, critically and comprehensively engaged with the Bible, and reflective of today's diverse family and church life.

Today, we offer a range of resources including seven age groups of Sabbath school curriculum, videos devotionals for children and teens, a user-friendly app and website, and pastoral resources to unite the entire church. We're excited about our upcoming projects for 2024: a music- and movement-based curriculum for Beginners, and a podcast, Bible study and discussion guide for young adults.

With over 100 Adventist churches on board, our community is at the core of everything we do. Our subscribers are more than just customers; they're partners in a project to impact families and churches.
